As a Senior Engineer – ITS & Intelligent Mobility, you will play a key role in advancing ITS capability in Western Australia while contributing to nationally significant projects. What you’ll do
- Support the delivery of ITS design and advisory solutions, helping to build and strengthen WSP’s presence in a growing and high-impact market.
- Technical Delivery
- Deliver ITS design and project activities across a range of transport infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to advisory engagements aligned with client strategies, including MRWA ITS Masterplans and C-ITS initiatives.
- Apply strong knowledge across smart motorways, connected vehicles, signals and emerging transport technologies.
- Client & Project Contribution
- Work closely with project leaders and client teams to deliver high-quality, technically robust outcomes.
- Support collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to achieve integrated project solutions.
- Contribute to building trusted client relationships through consistent delivery excellence.
- Business Growth
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of strategic pursuits and opportunities.
- Support the development of client relationships and partnerships across ITS, lighting and signals.
- Contribute to bids and proposals, helping position WSP strongly in the market.
- Collaboration & Teaming
- Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders across WSP.

About you
You’re an emerging leader with strong technical grounding in ITS and a desire to grow your influence across projects, clients and the market.
You’ll bring:
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered status (or working towards).
- Typically 5+ years’ experience in ITS, intelligent mobility, or related electrical/systems engineering.
- Experience working with Australian ITS standards and transport technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Exposure to client engagement and/or supporting business development activities.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation in transport.
