This is a high-impact role within our Clients & Growth team, partnering with senior leaders across the business to deepen client relationships, unlock new opportunities, and deliver sustainable growth.
The Opportunity
As a trusted adviser to account leaders, you will lead the development and execution of client strategies that strengthen relationships, enhance client experience, and drive measurable growth. Working across priority accounts within the mining sector - you will play a critical role in driving client growth, shaping pursuits, and embedding best-practice client engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Strategy & Relationship Management
- Develop and drive strategic client plans across key accounts within the mining sector
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders
- Provide insights into client priorities, challenges, and opportunities
- Coach teams to deepen relationships and broaden engagement across WSP
- Growth & Business Development
- Lead growth initiatives aligned to WSP’s strategic priorities
- Develop prospecting and positioning activities and coach technical stakeholders to help identify new opportunities
- Lead capture planning and bid strategy for strategic opportunities
- Partner with bids and marketing teams to improve win rates and client outcomes
- Client Experience & Insights

- Analyse and translate client feedback into actionable insights
- Champion a client-first culture across the business

About You
You are a commercially savvy and highly relational professional who thrives in a complex, stakeholder-rich environment. Relevant qualifications in business, marketing, or communications. 5+ years in business development, client strategy, or marketing within a professional services environment. Proven ability to develop and implement client growth strategies. Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing capability. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pursuit and capture processes. Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate strategy into action. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across diverse teams.
