We are expanding our Bridges, Aviation and Roads team in Perth. In this role, you will work alongside talented professionals on iconic projects that drive future-ready solutions benefiting both clients and communities.

The opportunity: If you’re ready to make a real impact, we're on the lookout for passionate Civil Engineers to join our Bridges, Aviation and Roads team and help deliver future-ready solutions across Western Australia’s most exciting infrastructure projects.

At the heart of our Transport & Infrastructure Group, you’ll work with cutting-edge technology and a culture of innovation to design smarter, safer, and more sustainable transport infrastructure. From highways to airports, your work will help connect communities and build resilience across the state. You’ll work on landmark transport projects, plus a mix of smaller initiatives that contribute to wider community improvement.

You will be part of a digitally enabled engineering environment, where automation, parametric design, and data integration are embedded into how we deliver projects. You will assist or lead in the continual development tools and workflows that eliminate manual tasks and unlock faster, smarter, and more reliable design outcomes.

Based in our Perth CBD office, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading engineers and grow your technical expertise.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or contribute to the delivery of complex transport and civil infrastructure projects across WA
  • Provide technical input to civil designs, drawings and reports
  • Work directly with clients to understand project needs and deliver value-driven solutions
  • Deliver work to scope, programme and cost across multiple projects of varying scale
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and nationally
  • Contribute technical input to proposals and pursuits in support of business growth

Subject to the level of experience, you could:

  • Provide technical input, review and verification of civil designs, drawings and reports
  • Act as a technical authority within your discipline, supporting consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Champion Safety in Design, quality systems and best-practice OHS&E behaviours
  • Manage scope, programme, cost and risk across multiple projects of varying scale
  • Mentor and develop engineers, supporting capability uplift and knowledge transfer
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams locally and nationally
  • Lead technical input to proposals and pursuits in support of business growth

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent, or working towards achieving this
  • Typically 3–15 years’ experience in civil and transport engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, Main Roads WA standards, PTA standards and civil design practices
  • High-level capability relative to years of experience in relevant design software (e.g. OpenRoads or 12D)
  • Genuine enthusiasm to shape the future of transport infrastructure design and construction

Subject to level of experience:

  • Proven experience leading technical delivery on complex projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical risk and apply Safety in Design principles
  • Strong client engagement skills with experience working on WA infrastructure projects
  • A collaborative mentor who enjoys developing others and strengthening team capability
