You will be accountable for technical quality, team performance, and continuous improvement, while supporting delivery outcomes for clients across transport and infrastructure.What Youβll DoAs the WA CAD lead within our rail team, you will:Oversee the preparation, coordination, and issue of complex drawing packages, ensuring quality and consistency across all outputsAct as the technical authority for drafting, setting and maintaining standards, QA processes, and best practice proceduresPlan and allocate resources to meet project timelines, budgets, and deliverablesProvide senior-level technical guidance and conduct detailed reviews of drawings and modelsWork closely with engineering leads and project managers to support integrated design deliveryDrive capability uplift through mentoring, coaching, and structured development of team membersSupport recruitment, workforce planning, and performance management within the teamChampion Digital Engineering, including adoption of new tools, workflows, and innovation initiativesContribute to the continuous improvement of systems, standards, and delivery processesThis is a Perth-based role with hybrid working arrangements.About YouExtensive experience as a Civil Drafter, operating at Senior, Associate or Principal Technician or equivalent level β usually minimum of 10 years of experience within a large consultancy environment.Formal qualifications in civil drafting or equivalentStrong experience across civil infrastructure projects in WA, with deep understanding of WA standardAdvanced proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads, OpenRail and ProjectWiseDemonstrated ability to lead quality assurance, standards development, and technical governanceEffective communication, stakeholder management and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
