Overview
In this Senior Engineer role you lead a design team focused on Overhead Transmission Lines (11k V–400k V) and deliver technically solid solutions.
You provide guidance, prepare proposals, and contribute across project implementation, planning, and public consultation.
You oversee engineering and design activities, including PLS-CADD modeling, line routing, and structural analysis, while ensuring compliance with standards.
You will engage with industry groups to advance our projects and capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a design engineering team specializing in OHL projects
- Prepare comprehensive project proposals covering timelines, resources, budgets, and objectives
- Provide technical guidance throughout project implementation and during statutory planning and public consultations
- Oversee engineering and design activities (PLS-CADD modeling, line routing, structure analysis, sag-tension, insulator/conductor selection, swing angle, damper systems, clearance reports)
- Conduct feasibility studies, conductor thermal ratings, and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Identify technically preferred solutions/layouts to present to clients
- Participate in industry working groups (CIGRE, IEEE)
- Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent (Electrical or Power preferred)
- Experience in overhead line engineering up to 400k V
- Experience on upgrading projects (e. g., High Temperature Low Sag conductors)
- Leadership and team supervision
