You will work on a range of projects in the Energy Sector with the emphasis on low or zero-carbon technologies such as onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, battery storage, carbon capture, hydrogen and innovative thermal power projects.
You will work on projects in a variety of stages of maturity, including feasibility, concept, front-end engineering and detailed design.
There will also be opportunities for site work during project development, construction and commissioning.
You will be responsible for deliverables such as structural design reports, BIM models, general arrangement drawings and detailed structural drawings.
You will work in a multi-disciplinary environment supporting the development of plant layouts.
You will develop proposals and bids for the civil & structural content of projects, contributing to multi-disciplinary proposals.
The UK Energy Low Carbon team provides services to Clients from inception through development, construction, operation, and decommissioning.
An approach that sees us support our clients over the entire lifecycle of a project.
Our team's expertise covers all Energy Transition generation and conversion technologies.
Working together with private developers, power utilities, government bodies, banks, lending agencies, contractors and OEM's we safely deliver projects whilst meeting and exceeding client expectations.
We also work internationally with our clients and other Energy sector teams in North America, Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
Degree in relevant Engineering subject Working towards chartered status of relevant Engineering Institution.
Experience of working with structural design software packages such as Robot Professional and STAAD Pro in addition to CAD software such as Revit and Auto CAD.
