We have an opportunity for a Road Safety Auditor / Road Safety professional, to join WSP's Liveable Places team and support a varied project pipeline across our London and the South-East regions.
The role is based in our London office (Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf), with hybrid working allowing for a mix of in-office, site, and home working.
As a Road Safety Engineer / Auditor with WSP, your role will include: Undertaking Road Safety Audits as Team Member Working on Vision Zero / Road Safety projects – including analysis of collision data, designing road safety schemes, and helping deliver strategies & action plans based on the Safe System approach Preparing reports, sketches, schedules and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance.
Managing project finances, programmes and deliverables.

Work collaboratively with the Liveable Places team and the wider WSP business to achieve our aims and objectives About the Liveable Places Team Liveable Places work with a wide range of local authority clients from across the UK to help them achieve their place-making ambitions.
We deliver a wide range of schemes from concept to delivery that include public realm, traffic engineering, transport planning, road safety, traffic signals, pedestrian / traffic modelling, active travel, and parking.
We have had recent key successes with Gloucestershire County Council, West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Council, West Berkshire Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, West of England Combined Authorities, Devon County Council, National Highways, Westminster City Council and many, many more.
We have a strong track record working closely with our clients and this role provides a great opportunity to have a pivotal role within Liveable Places and help support and steer its growth going forward.
You will be a qualified Road Safety Auditor, in accordance with DMRB GG 119.
You have experience in Road Safety, how to mitigate issues, and analyse collision data.
Experience in managing projects (including financial aspects of projects) and mentoring more junior colleagues.
