What you’ll do: Looking to take the next step in your engineering career while working on a diverse range of mining projects?
We're seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Newcastle Mining team, supporting the delivery of small – medium sized mining and resource related projects.
You'll work alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from concept studies through to detailed design and project delivery.
Deliver civil engineering designs for mining and resource sector projects.
Undertake earthworks, roads, drainage, site development and associated infrastructure design.
Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications and design documentation.
Develop and review 12d models, alignments, surfaces and earthworks designs.
Coordinate with mechanical, structural, electrical and process disciplines.
Attend client meetings and contribute to project planning and delivery activities.
Support site inspections, commissioning and construction activities as required.
Assist in developing practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
About you: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering. 2-6 years of relevant civil engineering experience, ideally within mining, infrastructure, resources or industrial projects.
Strong working knowledge of Civil design tools (12d or Civil 3D)Experience with earthworks, drainage, roads and site infrastructure design.
Familiarity with Australian standards and engineering design practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
