Overview
As an Architectural Technologist at ESA Architecture in Cardiff, you will translate preliminary designs into buildable solutions and coordinate multi-disciplinary information. You’ll act as a team leader, supervise technical delivery, and liaise with clients, contractors and site teams to keep projects on track. You’ll address procurement, programming, design queries and attend design and coordination meetings to support successful build delivery. This role offers exposure to UK-based projects within a collaborative, inclusive practice.

Responsibilities
- Realise preliminary designs into buildable solutions across disciplines
- Lead and manage design teams and sub-contractors
- Coordinate design information and respond to technical queries
- Attend and lead design and coordination meetings
- Support contractor during build and monitor project status and changes
- Produce design deliverables and site inspections/condition surveys
- Manage procurement, programming, and change controls
- Liaise with project leader on budget, schedule and change implications
Key requirements
- HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology or equivalent
- Eligible member of MCIAT or recognized equivalent
- Understanding of Building Regulations and technical design guidance
- Proficiency in REVIT and Navisworks for Level 2 BIM delivery
- UK Security Check (SC) eligibility
