Overview
You will support digital project delivery for civil infrastructure, shaping BIM workflows and standards. As part of the Civil team in Wales and the South-West, you’ll collaborate with engineers, project managers and digital leads to improve BIM quality and productivity. You’ll implement model-first principles, develop reusable templates, and drive smarter, data-rich workflows. This role offers hybrid project work with strategic training and mentoring to advance your career in a global, innovation-led firm.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced BIM support for planning and production of Civil structure models using Autodesk Revit and related tools
- Develop and enforce digital delivery standards and procedures aligned to the WSP UK Civil Information Management Framework
- Ensure quality and value across projects through BIM best practices and model validation
- Create and manage model templates, configurations and reusable components
- Collaborate with digital leads, computational engineers, surveyors and other disciplines to streamline workflows
- Participate in Civil working groups to improve ways of working
- Audit BIM processes and share lessons learned
- Develop automations with in-house developers per the Civil Automation Framework
- Promote effective use of BIM data and provide digital training support
Key requirements
- Proven ability to coordinate teams to meet project goals
- Solid knowledge of civil/structural design principles
- Strong proficiency with Bentley or Autodesk authoring tools (e.g., Civil 3D, Revit, OpenBridges)
- Experience with CDEs such as ACC/Forma and Bentley ProjectWise
- Experience with Navisworks, Rhino + Grasshopper, and Dynamo
- Good experience with model data production/management
- Willingness to expand skills in coding and data analytics
- Civil engineering degree or equivalent
- Chartered or working towards chartership
