A little more about your role…
- Produce high quality, technology driven designs on some of the most exciting projects in the UK and worldwide.
- Produce strategy documentation that serve to protect buildings and occupants within the built environment globally.
- Become part of the wider WSP business by sharing knowledge and technical skills with colleagues from around the globe.
- Work with clients, developers, contractors and architects to build relationships and work towards being the security consultancy of choice in the industry.
- Work in an environment that allows you to use your own initiative with support from specific specialist experience to deliver high quality strategic and engineering solutions.
- Supervise the completion of detailed designs and supervise the work of others in this function, whilst maximising joint learning opportunities for the wider business.
- Assist with developing the client relationship to promote new commissions.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
- A can-do attitude, the desire to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience in security consulting or electronic security design, from concept to technical design stages.
- Good attention to detail and show pride in the work produced.
- An understanding of the RIBA Security overlay and the general RIBA Plan of Works would be preferable.
- A working understanding of SBD/CPTED.
- An understanding of working with Revit or other 3D design software will be required for technical roles.
- Relevant qualifications or experience relevant to the field of security consulting and electronic security system design, other qualifications i.e. electrical engineering would be considered.
- Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
