We are seeking suitably qualified Senior Landscape Architect & Landscape Planners with a diverse track record to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. We are a passionate and motivated team with offices in all regions of the UK. We value integrity and professionalism aligned with creativity and vision, and as part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and abroad.

Responsibilities:

  1. Being an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious, and friendly team.
  2. Landscape lead undertaking Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
  3. Landscape design lead on multi-disciplinary projects including urban realm and mixed-use developments, through all LI/RIBA stages, generally working in a BIM level 2 environment.
  4. Support the continued development of relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors.
  5. Support preparation of bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects.
  6. Managing and delegating project work to junior members of the team.
  7. Client-facing role, involving design advice, leading workshops, and stakeholder events.
  8. Joining internal multi-disciplinary working groups promoting innovation and excellence.
  9. As a Landscape Planner, you would lead, author, and co-ordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
  10. In a Landscape Architect role, you would lead on design projects, including urban realm and mixed-use developments, through all LI/RIBA stages, generally working in a BIM level 2 environment.
  11. Preparation of bids, from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects.
  12. Lead, manage, and delegate project work to junior members of the team.
  13. Client-facing role, involving design advice, leading workshops, and stakeholder events.
  14. Joining internal multi-disciplinary working groups promoting innovation, excellence, and thought leadership.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
  2. Postgraduate Diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
  3. Established track record authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
  4. Established track record successfully delivering landscape and urban design projects, from initial site analysis and concept design through to detailed design including the production of information for planning and construction.
  5. Technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
  6. Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
