A little more about your role… We are looking to recruit a Transport Planner or Assistant Transport Planner to join our Transport and Travel Planning team in Norwich. In this role you will be based in the heart of the vibrant and historic city of Norwich, working in partnership with Norwich County Council.
As a key member of the team in Norwich you will have the opportunity to support a wide range of transport and travel planning projects from inception through to completion, in areas of transport strategies, analytics, feasibility studies, and transport network performance assessments.
This is a varied role with responsibilities including:
- Contributing to a variety of projects and proposals (both technical and commercial inputs) and supporting delivery of high quality outputs in line with client requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of our portfolio of projects with a focus on active travel, interventions assessment and strategy development.
- Playing a supporting role in securing and delivering work for our diverse local client portfolio.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team; working with our other WSP service lines to support on disciplinary projects from concept to delivery.
- Contribute to the financial performance of your projects.
