- What You’ll Do
- Lead the delivery and physical implementation of technology workstreams across Baxter Storey mobilisation, refurbishment and transformation projects.
- Act as the technology lead for Baxter Storey sales bids, ensuring technology solutions are operationally practical, commercially viable and fully integrated into mobilisation and implementation plans.
- Conduct comprehensive technology audits and site assessments to understand operational requirements, infrastructure readiness, power and data requirements, equipment locations and user needs.
- Develop clear technology scopes, technical briefs and implementation plans that support project approval, budgeting and successful delivery.
- Coordinate the implementation of EPOS systems, digital ordering platforms, payment solutions, screens, kiosks and other approved hospitality technology solutions.
- Act as the link between Projects, Operations, IT, suppliers, contractors and client stakeholders, ensuring technology requirements are understood and integrated into wider project plans.
- Manage project plans, timelines, actions and technical activities, ensuring milestones, dependencies and go‑live dates are achieved.
- Maintain a solutions catalogue in partnership with the Central Technology Team, detailing use cases, infrastructure requirements, lead times, indicative costs and implementation considerations.
- Identify and manage implementation risks, site constraints and infrastructure dependencies, escalating issues and driving resolutions before they impact project delivery.
- Coordinate supplier activity, site installations, testing, commissioning and snagging activities to ensure technology is delivered to the required standard.
- Support mobilisation and refurbishment projects by providing technology expertise during design reviews, build phases, pre‑opening activities and operational readiness checks.
- Build and lead a network of technology champions and super‑users to maximise adoption and ensure solutions deliver operational and commercial value.
- Facilitate regular project reviews, providing clear updates on progress, risks, decisions and actions to stakeholders.
- Produce clear documentation, including technology scopes, implementation plans, risk registers, handover packs and post‑implementation reviews.
- Ensure effective handover into Operations, including training coordination, user readiness and support arrangements following go‑live.
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve the way technology is scoped, implemented and embedded within Baxter Storey projects.
- Support ad‑hoc digital improvement projects that enhance efficiency, consistency and the overall experience for our teams and clients.
- What You’ll Bring
- Experience supporting or managing technology projects, ideally within hospitality, retail or a multi‑site operational environment.
- Previous operational experience within the hospitality sector.
- Practical understanding of EPOS systems, digital ordering tools or other hospitality technology platforms.
- Strong organisational skills and confidence coordinating multiple workstreams at the same time.
- A collaborative, people‑focused approach, with the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into operationally relevant language.
- A practical understanding of structured project delivery and the realities of live service environments.
- Good commercial awareness, with an appreciation of budgets, costs and operational impacts.
- A proactive mindset, with a willingness to roll sleeves up and support where needed.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
