Job Description
Working as part of the HR Compliance team, you will contribute to consistency, accuracy and continuous improvement of documentation, data quality and compliance practices across all WSH brands.
You will also play an important part in supporting key HR administrative processes and collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to uphold high compliance standards.
This part time role requires you to work 15 hours per week over 2 days, Thursday and Friday each week, with some flexibility for holiday and other absence cover.
Key Accountabilites include
- Support the maintenance and updating of HR compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with UK and Ireland employment legislation
- Help maintain consistent HR procedures, onboarding documents and employee templates across all WSH brands.
- Support onboarding administration, including preparing and issuing contracts of employment, offer letters and associated compliance documentation for new starters.
- Support the administration and accuracy of contracts of employment and other core HR documentation.
- Assist with Right to Work (RTW) compliance, including checking documentation, maintaining records and supporting audits.
- Coordinate and complete employment reference checks and DBS applications, ensuring timely, compliant processing.
- Provide administrative support for key HR processes such as TUPE, DSAR requests and external advisory supplier reporting.
- Contribute to the rollout of HR compliance training and new HRIS functionality.
- Prepare guidance materials, FAQs and communications to support policy and process updates.
- Deliver timely, accurate HR administration while providing excellent service to colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications
What we require from you
- Understanding of UK and Ireland employment legislation and core HR compliance principle.
- Awareness of Right to Work (RTW) requirements and pre‑employment checks, including references and DBS
- Familiarity with HR administrative processes such as onboarding, contracts, and offer letters
- Understanding of GDPR, data protection requirements, and safe handling of sensitive employee information
- Basic knowledge of HRIS/HR systems and how employee data is maintained
- Awareness of consistent document control, version management, and compliance documentation standards
- Good organisational skills
