Job Description

Portico is on the lookout for a sharp, proactive, people focused Conference Services and Events Coordinator (Reservations & Events Coordinator) to join our elite team at a leading American multinational investment bank and financial services company in the heart of the City.

About the role

As our Conference Services & Events Coordinator, you’ll be the engine behind all meeting and event bookings.

Working closely with the Conference Services Supervisor, you’ll take full ownership of the reservations process — ensuring every request is handled promptly, accurately, and in line with our booking guidelines.

You’ll be the person who keeps the bigger picture in focus

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.5 hours a day shifts between 08.00 - 18.30, Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,838 per annum

  • Previous experience in reservations within a 5 star hotel or high end corporate environment — this is essential for success in the role.
  • Familiarity with room reservations systems and event planning processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to build effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and onsite vendors.
  • A motivated, can do attitude, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast paced, high expectation environment.
