Baxterstorey is seeking a friendly and efficient Hospitality Assistant to join our team in London, United Kingdom. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in our food service operations.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in admin reception and event bookings
- Greet and assist customers in a warm and welcoming manner
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve meals and refreshments to customers ensuring presentation meets our high standards
- Handle cash and card transactions maintaining accurate records
- Clean and sanitise dining areas, kitchen equipment and utensils
- Restock supplies and assist in inventory management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Respond promptly to customer queries and concerns escalating issues when necessary
- Assist in setting up and breaking down for events or functions as required
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
