About the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Supervisor to oversee the smooth delivery of service at Elstree School. Working closely with the catering and kitchen teams, you’ll ensure every customer enjoys a warm welcome, exceptional service, and high-quality food presentation. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a busy hospitality environment and enjoys leading a team to deliver excellence.

You will be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh, innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision specifically to suit children of all ages in order to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver excellent service
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation and dining area cleanliness
  • Ensure all hospitality events run smoothly and professionally
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback in a positive and proactive way
  • Support with ordering, stock control, and record keeping
  • Uphold all food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a front-of-house or customer service supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and people skills, with a positive and approachable manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and written
  • Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and allergen management procedures
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering a great customer experience
