We take communications seriously, and that means having the right team in place to keep our teams fully informed. We have taken on new projects, and as part of this, we have introduced a new Communications Assistant role to support our brand and communications team.
You will:
- Help deliver bold, engaging internal and digital campaigns; bring to life the stories behind our food and amplify the impact of how we connect with our teams and customers.
- Support the Head of Communications and the wider team in delivering the communications strategy, with a strong focus on coordination, content distribution, and keeping everything running smoothly.
- Upload and manage content across digital platforms, keep distribution lists current and up to date, and ensure campaigns land where they need to.
- This is a hands-on role getting content out the door, scheduling, publishing, and managing systems, while keeping calendars organised and inboxes under control.
- You will be the kind of person who spots the gaps, keeps things moving, and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks.
- An integral part of the team, you’ll be organised, proactive, and detail-focused, with an instinct for supporting others and getting things done.
Qualifications:
- Experience in communications (1–2 years) or a relevant degree/equivalent qualification.
- Core understanding of social media platforms.
- Knowledge of CMS platform, preferably WordPress is desirable but not essential.
- Strong creative copy skills with an eye for detail.
- Filming and editing (preferably using Adobe, Canva or similar) and delivering via channels such as Instagram. Experience desirable but not essential.
