The Nightshift Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals during night operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strict food safety and cleaning standards. This role supports both Breakfast/Main Meal production and overall kitchen efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present breakfast items and main meals to a consistent standard, following recipes, portion guidelines, and dietary requirements.
  • Provide friendly, efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive dining experience and responding to requests professionally.
  • Complete all scheduled cleaning tasks, including equipment, surfaces, storage areas, and utensils, maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation such as temperature checks, cleaning logs, allergen controls, and food safety records in line with company and legal standards.
  • Work night shift hours (exact times may vary), including responsibility for early-morning breakfast preparation and ensuring the kitchen is fully ready for daytime operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong cooking skills and ability to work independently during night hours.

  • Ability to work independently – Confidence managing a kitchen during quieter night hours.
