We are looking for an experienced and dedicated bar supervisor to assist the restaurant managers in the day to day running of the bar and deliver an exceptional service to customers.

We are looking for personable individuals to join our bar team to assist with the delivery of exquisite cocktails and exceptional wine. Our supervisor role is perfect for an experienced bartender, who prides themselves on perfect product knowledge, giving excellent service, and connecting with each guest that they serve. We are looking for someone who can set an example to our other staff, and help to nurture and train them to be the best they can be.

We ask for at least 1 year’s experience working in a quality restaurant.

About the Bar Supervisor role:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, whilst carrying out all duties required
  • Take part in the setup of the bar
  • Take orders and prepare drinks
  • Prepare hot drinks
  • To successfully participate in the delivery of all food and beverage services
  • Nurture and develop new commis bartenders
  • Adhere to all company policies and departmental procedures/trainings
  • Liaise with key people in all necessary areas of the business to ensure the provision of beverages and service is consistent and in line with menu/standards set by the managers
  • Deal effectively and courteously with guest requests, and to refer them to the line manager, if necessary
  • Confident with the ordering and stock management required

Hours per week: 45

Qualifications:
  • Leaving Cert level education or above
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to display a real passion for food, beverage and customer service
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Hands on and proactive approach
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management
