We are seeking an exceptional Manager to support the catering and hospitality strategy for a prestigious, high-profile collaboration that will set new standards for excellence, innovation, and guest experience over the summer, traveling between both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Job Description:
- To support the daily operations, being hands on during service.
- To resolve any guest complaints calmly and promptly.
- Ensure all team members are delivering a great guest experience, whilst upselling where possible.
- To retain excellent product knowledge of both food and beverage offerings.
- To seek opportunities to innovate and improve throughout.
- Support and lead the team with kindness and respect, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity, ensuring every person is valued, whilst encouraging their development.
- Maintain accurate records of Health and Safety, Food Safety and orders.
- To uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.
- To attend all training and development courses as requested.
- To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour, appearance and knowledge.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a food and beverage service.
- Barista experience (advantageous).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet business needs.
- Highly developed attention to detail and record keeping.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering a great guest experience.
- Great team player.
- Leads by example and takes initiative.
