Searcys are looking for an Events Planning Manager to join the team at 30 Euston Square. As an Events Manager, you will support with the successful delivery of the Food & Beverage Events Operation. 30 Euston Square is a Grade II* listed award-winning events venue in a perfect central London location. From meeting and conference spaces to private dining and rooftop terraces, the venue offers an iconic setting for any occasion.

As an Events Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the managing and planning of all bookings in accordance with company or site policies and procedures and in accordance with pre-approved parameters to ensure brand reputation is protected and profit margins are maintained.
Key responsibilities:
- To demonstrate thorough knowledge of our products, prices, facilities, policies and procedures from either the venue or from client (when applicable).
- To manage/oversee the booking diary to ensure all bookings are attended to in a timely manner (sufficient lead time to manage all aspects of the event).
- To proactively develop and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- To represent 30 Euston Square in a professional and cordial manner when interacting with clients, work colleagues and industry peers.
- To effectively manage all bookings allocated to you whilst overseeing progress of bookings allocated to junior members of the team to ensure the event pack is ready at the agreed date/time by management.
- To ensure thorough knowledge with both the Internal and External Hire Agreement between venue and the hirer, including, but not limited to all cancellation policy.
- To ensure thorough knowledge of internal and external rates.
- To ensure all accounting procedures, including but not limited to administration of deposit invoice, deposit credit notes and debt are processed and managed in an efficient manner.
- To ensure that under no circumstances, and unless authorised by the general manager, events take place at 30 Euston Square without relevant deposit payments reaching our bank account prior to event date.
- To demonstrate competitor awareness and carry out competitor analysis when required.
- To process and manage all client requirements in accordance with building, client or company policies to ensure compliance of food, health and safety at all times.
- To book, when necessary, third party approved suppliers such as entertainment and/or equipment hire as agreed in writing by the client.
- To manage these bookings alongside the main event, in scenario that main event date changes.
- To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to as described in the Searcy Health & Safety Policy.
- To attend all meetings and training courses as requested by the Senior Event Manager.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as required to achieve the objectives and targets of the sales and events team.
