Searcys are looking for an Event Manager to join the team at HAC. As an Event Manager for Searcys, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and profitability of an event. You will manage and coordinate the team during the event and work closely with the sales team and client to deliver the event seamlessly.
The HAC is quite unlike any other City event venue; a magnificent Georgian house set in a five-acre garden. This unique, historic London venue offers a wide variety of event spaces and a unique outdoor space nestled within the city backdrop.

Job Description:
Responsible for all catering operation aspects of events including planning, staffing, setup, running, client liaison, and overall profitability of events. You will lead the events operations team to deliver the food & beverage event operations at any of the event spaces at the venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the front of house operation on assigned events, providing a comprehensive briefing to all team members involved in the delivery of the event.
- Ensure events are set up as required by the event sheets and according to venue SOPs.
- Ensure events are delivered on time as required by the event sheets.
- Lead and have active input to daily and weekly event operations meetings.
- Liaise with the kitchen, event operations, and sales teams to deliver successful events.
- Conduct short- and long-term planning and management for events.
- Maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits in all event areas.
- Evaluate each piece of event business to ensure it can be properly serviced.
- Assemble creative and innovative event setups based on internal capabilities or outsource to qualified vendors.
- Lead the event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
- Assist in the recruitment, development, and training of our front of house team.
- Coach employees to reflect company service standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in event management
- Thorough understanding of the event and meeting management process β conception to completion
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and work well under pressure
- Meticulous organizational abilities; high attention to detail
- Concise and effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
