Location: Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 B

Salary: £14.39 per hour

Shift Pattern: Flexible – early, middle or late shifts between 04:00 and 22:00, 8.5 hours each.

Core Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef, ensuring food safety at all times.
  • Station Management: Oversee production of all dishes at your station, maintain supplies, and keep the area clean according to policies.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste consistently meet expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and assist colleagues as needed.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, suggesting improvements or innovations.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Keep kitchen cleanliness and organisation, ensuring equipment is functional.
  • Flexible coverage of all required shifts to support operations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
