Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Event Sales Manager to join our team at ZSL London Zoo!
- Location: ZSL London Zoo, London (with regular presence across our venue portfolio)
- Contract: Full Time, Permanent
- Salary: Competitive
About the Event Sales Manager role:
- Driving event sales and achieving revenue targets across Benugo's portfolio of venues.
- Building new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship management.
- Managing enquiries from initial contact through to contract, creating tailored proposals and quotations.
- Conducting venue show-rounds, client meetings, and tastings to secure new business.
- Maintaining an active sales pipeline and ensuring accurate CRM records and reporting.
- Working closely with Event Planning, Operations, and venue teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and maximise revenue.
- Representing Events by Benugo at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Acting as a brand ambassador and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
About the ideal candidate:
We're looking for someone who is highly motivated, commercially minded, and passionate about hospitality and events. You will have:
- A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within events, hospitality, catering, venue sales, or agency environments.
- Strong business development and relationship-building experience.
- Experience creating high-quality sales proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of event profitability.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally Tripleseat.
- A proactive, resilient, and self-motivated approach.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, events, food, and delivering outstanding client experiences.
