We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking Kitchen Porter to join the team in John Lewis, Edinburgh, to ensure the kitchen and back of house runs smoothly.

Hours: 30 hours per week

Hourly rate: £13.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained
  • Helping with general food preparation
  • Maintaining storage areas
  • Receive, count, inspect and store goods and equipment correctly and safely
  • Report any broken equipment
  • Follow all Food Safety, Health and Safety, and COSHH legislation

Qualifications:

We don't require experience, but we are looking for someone with a smile, a hard-working attitude and the drive to be a team player. This role includes working any 5 days in a 7 day period, with weekend work.
