We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House General Assistant to join our team in Osterley, London, United Kingdom. - Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner while ensuring all requests are promptly addressed
- Provide outstanding customer service by remaining attentive to guests' needs throughout their visit and responding to questions and concerns with empathy and positivity
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and back-of-house teams to support seamless operations and contribute to a safe, inclusive working environment
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas and service stations in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining organized and detail-oriented, even during peak service periods
- Demonstrate adaptability and a solution-oriented approach when addressing challenges or unexpected situations
- Communicate clearly with team members and management to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence
- Manage guest interactions with professionalism and emotional intelligence, resolving concerns with grace and efficiency
- Comply with all food service guidelines, health and safety regulations, and organizational policies
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive guest experiences
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests and colleagues
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to an inclusive, supportive workplace culture
- Demonstrated adaptability and resilience with a solution-oriented mindset when facing challenges
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to obtain this knowledge through training
- Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods while maintaining professionalism and energy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to professional behavior and appearance
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities during busy service periods
- Previous experience in a food service, hospitality, or customer-facing role is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues
