We are seeking a friendly and efficient General Assistant to join our team in Huntingdon, United Kingdom. As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and excellent customer service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests' needs and requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations and contribute to a positive work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces
- Assist with general administrative tasks and support various departments as needed
- Comply with health and safety regulations and food service guidelines
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively
- Support team members during busy periods and assist with additional tasks as required
- Contribute to the organisation's goals by demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for customer service and hospitality
- Previous minimum 1 yrs experience in a similar role, particularly in the food service industry (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle various situations effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Basic computer literacy for handling administrative tasks
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (desirable)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, as required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
