Location: Heathrow Airport, Terminal 5
Salary: £14.91 per hour
Hours of work: 37.5 hrs per week. Shifts are 8 hours long with early (04:30) and late (22:30) start/finish times.
All candidates must complete mandatory pre‑employment checks, including five years of verifiable employment history, a UK DBS check and, if required, an overseas Police Clearance Certificate.

Job Description
The role requires the delivery of professional, 5‑star level hospitality in the British Airways Lounges at Heathrow Airport. The lounge host is the face of the operation, ensuring that every visitor receives excellent service and a relaxing experience.
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle complaints and resolve issues professionally and courteously.
- Maintain clean, tidy lounge environments; perform regular cleaning, sweeping, mopping and rubbish removal.
- Sanitise tables, counters and service areas regularly.
- Monitor and restock condiments, napkins, cutlery and other supplies; report shortages to management.
- Foster teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Adhere to COSHH regulations and use appropriate protective equipment.
- Follow dress code policies and demonstrate excellence in appearance.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, including temperature controls, storage procedures and sanitation practices.
- Follow proper hand hygiene procedures and personal cleanliness guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer‑service role, preferably in a café, hotel or restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
