Portico are currently recruiting for an experienced Duty Manager (Assistant Front of House Manager) to aid in the running of a corporate hotel for one of Britain's biggest retailers. The role of the Assistant Front of House Manager is to assist the General Manager in the full running of the hotel and overseeing the Reception and Housekeeping teams, as well as their daily duties to the supervision of the Front of House team. The successful candidate will manage budgets, carry out checks and liaise with other service providers to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
Hours: 40 hours per week. 8-hour rota-based shifts, 5 days out of 7. (Includes weekends).
Salary: £30,900 per annum
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be an inspirational and customer-focused manager, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. They will be able to build rapport with different people, showing their passion for exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will also be organised and forward-thinking, self-motivated and able to work well in a team. Experience of working at a supervisory level within a high-end customer service or hotel-based role is essential.
