Portico is looking for an exceptional Guest Services Manager to lead the delivery of world-class Boardroom and Front of House services provided by our team at the Bristol, Reading and London offices of a revered law firm. Acting as the heartbeat of the operations, you’ll create a welcoming and community-focused environment while ensuring seamless service across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of all Portico services including Reception, Boardrooms and Switchboard.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients, becoming the trusted “go to” person on site.
- Create a warm, engaging workplace experience that enhances daily life for the firm’s colleagues.
- Manage, motivate and develop a diverse team, ensuring high performance and exceptional service.
- Oversee staffing, SOPs, audits, KPIs and SLAs to maintain consistently high standards.
- Produce monthly client reports and act as the key escalation point for senior leadership.
- Work closely with stakeholders on projects, co-working initiatives and service improvements.
- Ensure compliance with security, health & safety and employment legislation.
- Regularly visit the Bristol and Reading offices as part of your leadership remit.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Qualifications- Extensive leadership experience in a high-end corporate or premium service environment.
- Proven ability to lead large, dynamic teams and develop future leaders.
- Strong client service background with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Confident communicator who builds rapport, trust and positive relationships at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- High attention to detail, polished personal presentation and a calm, professional manner.
- Experience with meeting room booking systems (e.g. Condeco), visitor management tools, helpdesk systems, and AV/conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams).
