We work closely with school teams to create a positive eating experience for children of all ages, guiding both service delivery and staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage kitchen operations and catering for academic, sporting and hospitality events.
  • Supervise, train and support kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and hygiene.
  • Maintain accurate records and budgets, including cost calculations and GP considerations.
  • Lead health & safety, food safety and risk management procedures across all catering areas.
  • Collaborate with school staff to adapt menus to nutritional requirements and student preferences.
  • Coordinate working schedules and shift arrangements, offering flexibility and covering additional events as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing catering in a school or similarly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on leadership with focus on staff development and motivation.
  • Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety, food safety and GP calculation.
  • Financial acumen and robust IT literacy, particularly in kitchen management systems.
