Job Description
Portico have begun the search for a disciplined and professional Catering Manager to join our team based at a well known bank in Glasgow.
The Catering Manager will oversee the daily hospitality operations of a compact cafe based within the banks offices, which provides high-quality ready to go items for corporate clientele who value efficiency and standards. The is a focus on consistency, food safety and providing a seamless service. Unlike traditional hospitality roles, this position offers a stable predictable environment.
As this is a smaller operation, the Catering Manager will need a “hands on approach”, actively participating in the service and leading from the front, as well as managing one catering assistant and a workplace coordinator.
They will take responsibility for orders and stock management, budgets and compliance (Food safety, fire safety, COSHH)
Hours: 40 hours per week, with shifts from 7am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £32,960 per annum
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have experience of managing a small team within a contract catering, café or deli environment, with experience of stock taking and a solid financial understanding.
They will be methodical, organised and detail focused, taking pride in their work, with excellent communication skills across all mediums.
Please note that DBS checks are necessary for this role.
A level 3 food hygiene certification is required. However a course is provided if not already achieved.
