We are seeking an experienced Casual Chef to join our culinary team in Bristol, United Kingdom. This is a Monday to Friday position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment where your culinary expertise and organisational skills will be valued.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to a collaborative kitchen atmosphere.
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Managing kitchen stations efficiently and ensuring all equipment is used correctly and maintained.
  • Organising and controlling food inventory, including stock rotation and portion control.
  • Collaborating with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Adapting to changing menu requirements and accommodating dietary requirements and allergen awareness.
  • Monitoring food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with organisational standards.
  • Assisting with menu planning and recipe development where appropriate.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Communicating effectively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Chef or in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.

Desirable:
