Portico are on the lookout for a Corporate Welcome Host for a brand new multi-occupied building in Birmingham. The role of the Welcome Host is to take full accountability of the Front of House area and provide a seamless, warm and authentic customer experience for all visitors, guests, tenants and clients. Welcome Hosts are crucial to consistently creating compelling and emotionally engaging experiences for our communities, enhancing and elevating the customer journey from the moment guests enter the building.

Our Welcome Hosts perform a proactive welcome and personalised customer experience through a combination of desk working and lobby roaming to always ensure seamless service. Ultimately, their goal is to achieve a best-in-class welcome experience, greater occupier satisfaction and establish the building as Birmingham's premier innovative workplace destination.

Although the Welcome Host is predominantly a desk-based role, it will involve covering a Lobby Host from time to time, which is a role that requires proactive moving around the lobby space to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for colleagues and visitors. Candidates should only apply if they are comfortable to stand for long periods.

Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, shifts from 8am-5pm from Monday-Friday

Salary: £28,000

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and the natural initiative to take tasks on automatically. They must be a people person and show good levels of flexibility and adaptability to manage differing client needs. An excellent multitasker, the successful candidate will be the go-to person in the building and will need to focus on building strong and lasting relationships with the tenants. Customer service experience is required for the role.
