The Blue Coat School in Birmingham is looking for a Pastry Chef/Baker to join the team as part of Holroyd Howe's catering company. In this venue, you will have the opportunity to create the finest quality dishes and deliver exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.
You will work closely with a structured team to create high-end, tailored events ranging from bespoke fine dining dinners to large-scale corporate parties and outdoor events.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh daily baked goods and cold dessert pots products to company standards.
- Organize and stock work areas.
- Prepare food to company standards by following process cards.
- Follow food safety and handling standards and practices.
- Support various hospitality and catering elements outside of the core lunchtime feed.
Qualifications:
- Very well organised and ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent standards.
- Experience in working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin star restaurant is desirable.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
