Responsibilities:

  • Provide courteous and efficient service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with a warm and welcoming approach
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas throughout your shift
  • Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks, including plating and garnishing where required
  • Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests
  • Respond to guest requests and queries in a helpful and professional manner
  • Adhere to food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery during busy periods
  • Assist with stock management and reporting of supplies as directed
  • Contribute to the overall positive atmosphere and team morale within the hospitality centre

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role
  • Strong communication and people skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse guests
  • Excellent time-keeping and reliability
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety practices
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Professional demeanour and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a catering or hospitality organisation
