We are hiring for a Cook at University of Birmingham School in Birmingham who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is term-time only and has no weekend work, offering flexibility.

Position: Cook

Contract: Part-time, term-time only (38 weeks per year)

Salary: £14.50 per hour

30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
  • To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
  • To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plans.
