We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our team in Uttoxeter, United Kingdom on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be the face of our café, crafting quality beverages and creating memorable experiences for our customers.   • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, espresso-based beverages, and other café offerings with precision and consistency.
  • Operate espresso machines and other café equipment safely and effectively.
  • Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly, attentive service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, including equipment maintenance and sanitation.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Stock and rotate inventory items as needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and special requests with a helpful and empathetic approach.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration and support.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a barista or in a customer service role within a café or hospitality setting (preferred).
