We are seeking a Café Supervisor to join the team at Rothesay Rooms. Located in Ballater, Rothesay Rooms is a bustling café that prides itself on Scottish produce and community spirit. We are open Wednesday to Sunday serving breakfasts, brunch, lunch and afternoon teas, and host large groups and private events.
About the Café Supervisor role
This hands‑on supervisory position requires a fast‑paced individual who leads by example. You will oversee daily operations, support the team, and deliver the excellent customer experience we are known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring product and service standards.
- Supervise, manage, and motivate the team.
- Support management in improving sales and service.
- Maintain high levels of food safety and health & safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in a busy café or hospitality environment preferred.
- Supervisory experience desired but not essential.
- Must be local to the area or willing to commute to Ballater.
- Shift patterns Wednesday–Sunday, usually 9 am to 5 pm with occasional evening shifts for events.
