Overview
Made by the forge is offering a rare and unique opportunity for one person to join their small team of skilled artisans. We will initially train the candidate to be able to identify, pick and assist with getting products ready for orders. This must be carried out to a high standard with a keen eye for detail and no errors.
As an apprentice, you\’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You\’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Hours
The working week is 7:30am to 4:00pm with a half hour un-paid lunch break.
40 hours a week
Responsibilities
- manufacturing processes using drills and lathes,
- picking items for others,
- carrying out QC and assisting in making sure items are in perfect condition before they are dispatched.
- There will be duties that involve painting and other finishing methods which is a skilled operation but also one that immense personal satisfaction can be derived.

If the apprentice shows to be worthy of future employment, we would look to offer them a full time role after the completion of the training period.
