The duties of the Truck Driver will include, but are not limited to:
- Transportation & Logistics
- Safely operate and transport team transporters, race cars, and equipment to and from events, test sessions, and the workshop.
- Ensure all cargo is properly loaded, secured, and compliant with applicable transportation and safety regulations.
- Plan and execute travel routes and schedules to meet strict event and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely arrival of all race assets.
- Event Operations (Logistics Support)
- Oversee and support the loading and unloading of race cars, equipment, and freight at events and the workshop.
- Assist with paddock, pitlane, garage, and infrastructure setup, including awnings, hospitality units, and equipment organization.
- Support event build-up and breakdown, including general logistics and coordination as part of the operational team.
- Provide operational support during events, including equipment handling and service, spare parts logistics, and pitlane/paddock movements.
- Vehicle & Equipment Management
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of transporters and associated equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all transport vehicles and storage areas.
- Monitor and report any mechanical, safety, or compliance issues.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable U.S. DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours of service, electronic logging (ELD), and safety requirements.
- Maintain all required licenses, endorsements, and certifications.
- Always adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the logistics coordinator, team management, and engineering departments to support efficient operations.
- Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a high-performance motorsport environment.
- Represent the team professionally when interacting with vendors, partners, and event personnel.
- Travel Requirements
- Frequent domestic travel required, including extended periods away from home for race events and testing.
- Desired Skillset
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record and applicable endorsements.
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers, ideally transporting high-value or motorsport equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
- Proactive, reliable, and team-focused mindset.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is considered an advantage.
