Installations Engineer – WRS
WRS seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Installations Engineer to join our ever-expanding team.
WRS is a leading provider of EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) solutions dedicated to helping businesses streamline their operations, enhance customer service and boost efficiency. We offer innovative EPOS software and hardware solutions designed to meet the unique needs of companies, primarily in the retail and hospitality sectors.
An Installations Engineer would work in the Installations Team, installing our hardware across the UK and ensuring our clients’ expectations are met.
Our clients range from Coffee Shops to Holiday Parks. Installation sites can be existing locations or brand new shops so you will be part of the construction chain that build these businesses. You would need to be confident on a construction site setting and happy working with the public, construction workers and business owners.
Our head office is in Newport, Isle of Wight. When not \’on site\’ you would work on tasks within the Workshop, such as building and packing hardware for future installs.
A full clean driving license is essential. WRS will provide the relevant training and qualifications for site safety. We will provide a weekly schedule of work and make your travel arrangements. WRS would also process a DBS check to ensure you are suitable to work in public settings.
A skillset of being mechanically minded, confident with hands on practical work and using power tools is essential. Knowledge of computer networking and Windows operating systems is preferred, however, we could provide training on these aspects for the right candidate.
