About the Role: We are seeking a Site HSE Advisor to provide expert Health, Safety, and Environmental support on major onshore construction and decommissioning projects. Reporting to the Field HSE Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the site safety management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a strong safety culture across the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HSE awareness through workforce engagement, toolbox talks, and training initiatives.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor subcontractors, and ensure equipment and processes meet safety standards.
- Manage risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safe work practices across all site activities.
- Oversee Permit to Work systems and control of hazardous materials.
- Report on HSE performance, track KPIs, and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Promote environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives on site.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: HSE or engineering-related qualification; NEBOSH Diploma essential.
- Experience: Several years in onshore construction or Oil & Gas projects, including construction design, regulation management, surveys, or investigations.
- Certification: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
- Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to influence and support multi-disciplinary teams.
- Must be based in the UK with full permanent UK right-to-work status (no sponsorship available).
