Based from a Kingston-upon-Thames office with hybrid working, you will act as a key interface between vendors and internal project teams, proactively managing progress, identifying risks, and preventing delays across the full supply cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review purchase orders and contractual documentation to identify discrepancies and prevent delivery issues.
  • Liaise with vendors to confirm receipt, understanding, and acknowledgment of purchase orders.
  • Verify that vendor supply schedules cover all phases of the supply cycle, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and shipment.
  • Monitor vendor progress and provide accurate, up-to-date status reporting aligned with project priorities.
  • Proactively identify risks, delays, or deviations and implement mitigation actions.
  • Coordinate interfaces between vendors and internal engineering, procurement, inspection, and logistics teams.
  • Ensure timely availability of shipping and transport documentation.
  • Manage and track “dual-use” items in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within SAP, including goods receipts and milestone tracking.
  • Support evaluation of delay impacts and vendor performance issues.
  • Assist with vendor claims, variation requests, and performance feedback.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in an Expeditor or Supply Chain Coordination role.
  • Background working on EPCI projects, ideally within oil & gas, energy, or renewables.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and logistics workflows.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office / Office 365.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-focused, with strong problem-solving skills.
