The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Location: Point of Ayr, North Wales (site-based – 5.5 days per week)

Contract: 12-month renewable contract

Rate: Day rate, outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor to support construction activities on a major carbon capture infrastructure development in the Liverpool Bay area. The role is site-based and focuses on the accurate management, tracking, and reporting of construction quantities, costs, and progress in line with project procedures and contractual requirements. You will work closely with construction, commercial, and project management teams to ensure robust cost control, progress measurement, and subcontractor accountability throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance on site
  • Maintain and update bills of quantities and quantity record documentation
  • Track installed and erected quantities, manhours, and equipment usage
  • Update project management and quantity tracking systems with accurate site data
  • Support the preparation and assessment of change works, extra works, and dayworks
  • Verify subcontractor progress, work statements, and certifications
  • Assist with progress measurement, cost forecasting, and reporting
  • Support early identification of commercial risks and opportunities
  • Assist with subcontractor claims, variations, and technical–commercial evaluations
  • Provide quantity and cost input based on IFC drawings and construction progress
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within energy, oil & gas, or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of construction quantity management and cost control
  • Experience working on site-based construction projects
  • Familiarity with project management and quantity tracking systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
  • Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
