  • Work closely with departments across WRS to ensure Finance effectively supports operational and commercial decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems and drive efficiencies across the Finance function
  • Lead the development of our Finance automation and AI strategy, exploring how technology can improve efficiency, strengthen controls and enhance the quality of financial reporting

What we're looking for

  • We’re looking for an established finance professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial awareness and confident leadership.
  • You will ideally have:
    • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification

    • Experience managing and developing a Finance team
    • Strong management accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
    • Experience working across an international or multi-entity Group structure
    • An understanding of multi-currency environments
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn financial information into meaningful commercial insight
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
    • A continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to challenge established processes
    • Strong business acumen and the ability to see beyond the numbers
    • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI would be highly advantageous
    • Experience or knowledge of US businesses and reporting requirements would be advantageous
    • Previous experience within recruitment, staffing or a similar fast-paced service business would also be beneficial
