The Role
We\'re looking for an experienced Security Engineer who can carry out small scale installation whilst supporting our service team in maintaining and fault finding oto a high standard and serve as a WRS ambassador on-site. A key advantage would be the ability to help mentor and develop the skills of our junior Assistants and Apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain systems to NSI Gold standards
- Complete all necessary paperwork and reporting through Uptick
- Providing system reccomenations during visit to continuously improve site security
- Maintain regular communication with clients and our office, providing updates throughout the job
- Adhere to high levels of health and safety management on-site
- Represent WRS with professionalism, strong technical expertise, and a positive attitude
- Be part of our out of hours oncall team, a yearly bonus is paid for the plus extras if you are required to attend site.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Knowledge on Fire Alarm systems would be advantages but not required.
- 2 year experience within the industry
- Full UK driving license
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
- Customer-focused with effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dynamic, forward-thinking, and ambitious
The Package
Salary and benefits will be tailored based on experience, knowledge, and qualifications.
- Basic Hours: 40 hours per week
- Overtime: Frequently available and paid at time and a half or double time, as applicable.
- Travel Time: Paid for when time spent travelling exceeds contracted hours
- On Call Bonus: yearly bonus paid for being part of the on call team along with call out fees paid for attending site.
