The Role

We are looking for an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to oversee asbestos removal projects across Kent, London, and surrounding areas. You will lead site teams, ensure compliance with asbestos regulations, and maintain the highest standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise asbestos removal teams on-site
  • Ensure compliance with CAR 2012, HSE guidance, and company procedures
  • Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections
  • Monitor Plans of Work, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Maintain site records and project documentation
  • Liaise with clients, analysts, and project teams
  • Promote a strong safety culture and resolve site issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Valid Asbestos Supervisor Certificate (UKATA, ARCA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in asbestos removal
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Current Medical Certificate and Face-Fit Test
  • Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations and safe working practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste procedures
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime available
  • Occasional evenings and weekends as required
